All of our products have been developed to satisfy all your needs of design, manufacture, material selection and functionality. Even though we took care of all the steps that are required to get a premium quality case, you may not be satisfied with the product you received, so please contact us and return the product within 20 days of the shipping date (invoice date).
1. The refund of the stock case will be the cost paid for the case excluding shipping costs (shipping to the client and returning the case to our warehouse will be paid by the customer)
2. There is no refund of the custom cases (those made on demand or items that are not readily available when you placed your order -especially older models-). Thus please we do encourage that you select with all the attention needed to avoid purchasing the wrong item. Custom cases are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Note: We want you to know, and make it clear, that the 20 day period is not a trial period. The product must be returned unused. If the returned product is lost in transit to our address or damaged due to improper return packaging, we will be unable to issue credit. Restocking fee for returned items is 20% of the cost of the cost paid (excluding shipping costs)
When you make a return make sure that the entire package is complete as it was received (box, insert, clip, case, etc). We will not issue refunds on incomplete boxes, items, cases, etc.
The 20 day period may be extended to allow delays in transit only to international customers, if previous notification has been received.
Shipping costs of the return will not be refunded, but if the return is a result of our error or mistake, we will credit product cost and return freight. If you would like to exchange the original purchase, please place an order for the new item and return the original purchase for a credit.
More about Special Orders and Older Designs
All colors and/or embossing and/or a selected clip that is not readily available; or that require an additional charge are considered to be custom made; also cases for older models that are now made on demand are therefore non returnable and non refundable. Please note that we will wait 24 Hours before processing the custom case. If you feel that you may want to change your order during this period, please send us an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org specifying the order number (an e-mail confirmation has been sent to you when you placed the order) and a brief description of your request.
Special order cases are produced especially for you, and we have highly skilled personnel working to make it just perfect. We try to ship all specials within 2-3 weeks after the order has been placed. In the event that you do not receive your case during this time, please contact us, and someone will reply to you ASAP.
To request warranty service, a customer must return the product (box, insert, plastic bag, case and/or any part that was part of the shipment), shipping charges prepaid along with a copy of the packing list or original invoice. Please include description of problem.
To return a product you must follow the next steps.
Contact us to let us know you are returning a product and to obtain the return CODE (RMA) authorizing the return.
Return the product in original packaging or packaged in a mailer box to prevent damaged in-transit.
Include a copy of the packing list and the original invoice.
Fill out the reason for the return.

Limited Product Warranty
Any FortteTM Products that are not bought directly from FortteTM or authorized FortteTM resellers will NOT be covered by the 1 year fair wear and tear warranty.
FortteTM warrants to the original purchaser that its leather cases will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of the purchase (all other products, including belt clips, have a 30 day limited warranty). This limited warranty does not cover defects from product misuse, product neglect, product abuse, product tampering, product alterations, unauthorized product repairs, and damage while in transit to MCW Design & Mfg. LLC authorized return office(s). Further, this warranty does not cover any consequential damage to a person or property other than the product purchased.
FortteTM reserves the right to repair or replace the product if limited warranty applies.
We ship with the method of shipment you selected, for example USP Ground, UPS 2nd Day, USPS, etc. We will supply the tracking information as soon as it is available. Please note that USPS has limited tracking information.
We are not responsible of items lost during transit or delivered by the service selected that were not personally received. We encourage tracking and reviewing your order status and make sure that the shipping address you provided does not have any mistakes. We only accept returns of genuine cases made by Macaws in Bolivia, make sure that the case was manufactured in Bolivia and that it has inner labels stitched to the case with 3 digit, 4 digit, phone number and logo.
